Once upon a time...
A boy and a mercenary stumble across a conspiracy and find a millennia old secret. Their story begins in the lands north of the Middle Sea. Located in a bay on the north shore, is the great and perverse city of Corvus. Mouse, a ten year old boy and escaped slave, is on the run from a persistant and dangerous Slave Hunter Quintet.
North of the mountains finds Danica, a war weary mercenary commander. A slave raid results in Danica's daugther being taken and a vision sends her south while others chase the slavers east. Their stories and events converge in the Slave Pits of Corvus...
The stories unfold on the fourth planet from the main sun in a binary system found on a spiral arm of a galaxy in the local cluster. The suns and the world radiate unique EM energies and auras that have changed the world's inhabitants and allow them to tap into those energies and create Magic!
